Subciety Records continues with its mission to promote Portuguese artists and to explore what dub can be.

We proudly present you, "Under The Influence", an Ep produced by Skalator, in which Dub merges with other elements of bass music. Composed of 4 songs guided by contagious bass lines, “Under The Influence” is a sound experience prepared for listening both in a peaceful environment and on the dance floor.

Skalator aka Gil Bastos, born in Lisbon, is a music producer and DJ.
His interest in music grew in him since he was a child, influenced by his parents' vinyl and cassette collection.

The first steps in music production were taken in 2003, when he studied Sound and Music Production at Restart, in Lisbon. After a stint at the University of Brighton in the United Kingdom, in 2014 he created "Skalator Music”, an editor dedicated to bass music.
